MESSAGE ‘THE DAWN ANEW IS COMIN’ 1972 VINYL LP IN STUNNING LAMINATED GATEFOLD SLEEVE

Originally born as a German-British band, the music of MESSAGE oscillates between a substantial heavy rock and a nice folk rock articulated around a range of keyboards arrangements.

This, their first album was recorded under the direction of the famous musical engineer Dieter Dierks. The result sounds remarkably as British progressive rock of the time. Very melodic, with an accomplished lyrical sense of composition. They deliver impressive, extended, mainly instrumental heavy/ space rock tracks which can be compared (in some parts) to NEKTAR's first album.

Sleeve Condition: some light sticker removal damage and one numbered sticker to rear. Otherwise the entire sleeve is in lovely condition.

Record Condition: the record is in a very sold Ex to Ex+ condition without even centring marks to the label around the spindle hole. It plays Ex throughout with a magnificent, late 60’s early 70’s vinyl sound quality!

This is a rare and sought after album, musically complex and confident in very, very nice condition in an equally superb, gatefold sleeve which could only have been produced in the era which spawned it. A collector’s item to cherish. It will be a long time before another surfaces.
