MERCY DEE (WALTON)-"LONESOME CABIN BLUES/BABA-DU-LAY FEVER" SPIRE 101, Released in 1949. This was his 1st record on the new Spire label. I don't have a 78 player anymore, But upon visual inspection I have to rate this 78 at a strong VG++. Still has that deep rich luster to it. Under bright light very little wear at all. Should play great. Both labels look NM, Nice and shiny with no spindle wear. His body of work is somewhat short, 1949 to 1961. he passed away at age 47. I ship all my 78s in a deep custom mailer with cardboard inserts and miniature bubble wrap for a nice cushion ride. Thank you.
