Description
Every Tuesday night (European time) I will offer old punky records. My name is ‘punky_music’
Superclean pressing in tip-top condition. UK band the MEKONS released this 12” 3-tracker twice in 1981. A much commoner UK pressing exists, but this is the much harder to find German issue which was released in a completely different picture sleeve to its UK counterpart. Pressed on legendary Do-It-Yourself punk label 'Pure Freude' records. Label mates are SYPH, DIE TÖDLICHE DORIS, BOSS & BEUSI and many more. Complete with printed inner sleeve. The outstanding 'Never Been In A Riot' is a pretty loud live version and the punkiest song the MEKONS ever did. Although this track appears on their debut 7” from 1978, this live version sounds very different to its 7” counterpart. A very raw and unfiltered punk blaster like a fantastic SWELL MAPS track. This 12” 3-tracker was produced by the great Mike Kemp who also produced the classic punk singles 'Sick Of You' by the USERS and 'Give It To The Soft Boys' by the SOFT BOYS. The other two songs of this 12" release are entitled 'This Sporting Life' and 'Frustration'. Again, in tip-top condition.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Bezahlung / Payment: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal. All orders which exceed a value of €20 or £15 or $22 will only be sent by registered mail. This requires the buyer to pay an additional of €2,50 or £2 or $2.70. All winners from Italy must pay for registered mail.
