3-LP-Set, rotes Vinyl im Klappcover! Auf dieser 3-LP Veröffentlichung ist der Vater des Gypsy-Jazz zu hören. Schon zu Lebzeiten eine Legende, spielte Django Reinhardt 1934 in einer Band mit Stephan Grappelli und erfand eine komplett neue Technik des Gitarrenspiels (auch aufgrund der Tatsache, daß er in seiner Jugend bei einem Feuerunfall die Kontrolle über 2 Finger seiner rechten Hand verlor). Er tourte 1946 mit Duke Ellington und seiner Band durch die USA, bevor er leider viel zu früh im Alter von 43 Jahren 1953 verstarb.
