Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWSOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is MAY BLITZ--MAY BLITZ- UK ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING WITH VERY FIRST PRESSING SLEEVE,1970, stereo 6360 007 The 13 th of 87 UK pressings on this label.

SLEEVE.....GATEFOLD and UN-LAMINATED. This sleeve is in FANTASTIC condition.It is a GENUINE VERY FIRST PRESSING. This album was never re-issued by Vertigo. This is an out standing copy of this sleeve , it has that JUST OF THE PRESS look. It is very flat and square. The colours are very strong and vibrant LIKE NEW. The edges are N/MINT as is the spine. The front is N/MINT with NO RUBBING TO THE SURFACE, NO UNWANTED WRITING, NO STICKER TEARS, NO STICKERS, NO CREASES AND NO STAINING . The rear is in almost the same wonderful condition just a small light stain on the Gorilla's belly (topleft edge).The opening edges have NO FEATHERING and are AS NEW. The spine is FULLY legible and LOOKS NEW. The inside gatefold is in fantastic condition and looks MINT. The only signs of wear ( and they are extremely minimal) are on the very tips of the corners. This album comes with AN ORIGINAL VERY FIRST PRESSING SWIRL INNER SLEEVE in fantastic condition . All in all this is in wonderful condition for a 36year old sleeve.

LABELS......This is a genuine first pressing. Both labels are in wonderful condition, beautifully white with only ONE spindle mark on both sides! This album can only have been played on a handful of occasions and with the utmost care. N/MINT.

VINYL....Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. As for surface marks you have to hold this album in the very brightest of lights to see any kind of surface marks !!! Ther is only one faint mark otherwise it looks MINT. In normal daylight this album is PRISTINE. Both sides play WITHOUT SCRATCHES, CLICKS OR JUMPS. I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo seperation.This is a superb album in the most wonderful of conditions. There is ALMOST SILENCE between the tracks. These HEAVY VINYL origional pressings are second to none. This really is a top copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER . ( the very, very few dust crackles could probably be removed by a professional clean )

THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS ON THIS OR ANY LABEL AND GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND IN ANY CONDITION. IT IS SUPER RARE IN THIS 'SUPERB' CONDITION.DONT MISS THIS ONE.

THERE CANT BE MANY LEFT IN THIS NEAR MINT CONDITION. "STUNNING"
