As the most involving and interesting decade in modern music and media turned to a progressive future, lables such as VERTIGO, Harvest, Dandelion, RCA, Island and Atlantic in Britain, were carrying the torch with (as is now recognized) the most inventive and imaginative music. This was an astounding period that saw new genres arising, and sounds that proved that there were not any rules to be adhered to.
Here's the exciting (and rare!) progressive /psych album from the brilliant MAY BLITZ, who have outstanding compositions and musicianship - a wonderful debut here too, from this 3-piece band.
This album is an amazing and unique work from beginning to end, and can be called "a masterpiece". Yes there are some heavy rock moments, tempered - often within the same tune - with beautiful deft parts that compliment.
Absolutely marvelous, and throughout this record it makes captivating listening.
The album doesn't fall short of brilliance, as every tune is at no point derivative.
This LP is special and an essential album of progressive rock albums.
Wonderful to have this rarity in such nice playing shape!
CONDITION;
The VINYL grades EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT, a nice copy of this disc. It has had some play, but there are no marks - and this sounds marvellous!
'Swirl' Labels are EXCELLENT+, no stickers writing or tears.
The GATEFOLD COVER is VG+, some handling
wear, a name and a sticker removal tear on the inside face.
The ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER is included, not in 'top' shape but presentable.
