This is a very rare 16 inch radio transcription featuring two partial radio programs. This 16 inch, vinyl, 33 1/3 rpm disc features Part 1 of "Basin Street Jazz" radio program #17 and Part 1 of "Mystery Time" radio program #7. This disc contains part 1 of each radio program, not a complete radio program
Disc was produced by The Armed Forces Radio & Televison Service and issued to radio stations for broadcast only and not available to the general public, very rare
"Basin Street Jazz" radio program #17 circa mid 1950's. Part 1 of 2, this disc contains the first 15 minutes of a 25 minute show. Program features live jazz by The Max Roach - Clifford Brown Quintet from The Basin Street Cafe on Broadway in New York City. The Max Roach - Clifford Brown Quintet perform "Waltz Hot" and "I Feel A Song Coming On". Excellent Live Jazz!
"Mystery Time" radio program #7 circa 1950's. Part 1 of 2, this disc contains the first 12 1/2 minutes of a 25 minute show. Program is titled "Zodmiroky's Duel" and stars Sir Laurence Olivier
Disc is in Excellent- condition with Excellent Sound, Beautiful Disc
