GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Note : musiche composte ed eseguite da Maurizio Bigio : chitarra, armonica, batteria, percussioni e vocalizzi. Fondamentalmente temi di matrice blues con chitarra ed armonica in primo piano. Ossessione, stress e desolazione umana descritti con talento ricorrendo in alcuni casi a trovate sperimentali di buon effetto; come in " ORA X " caratterizzata dalla ripetività sonora delle percussioni e da un vocalizzo incerto tra il lamento e l'estasi; oppure in " IL TRENO DELL'ARCOBALENO " dal suono ossessivo e sincopato dell'armonica e un vocalizzo che simula il rantolo di chi non riesce ad andare più avanti. La chitarra riesce ad esprimersi magnificamente nel brano ricco di tensione drammatica " QUANDO MUORE LA CITTA' ". Non mancano temi di maggior positività come " PARMANIGHT " gradevolmente ritmica e ben scandita dalla batteria, la piacevole ballata western " PER UN PUGNO DI PRATERIA " e l'atmosfera avventurosa dalla buona ritmicità in " MEXICO CITY ".

Notes : music composed and performed by Maurizio Bigio : guitar, harmonica, drums, percussions, vocalisms. Ten tunes mainly based on blues with guitar and harmonica in predominance. Obsession, stress, human desolation are well described by the blues sound, sometimes having recourse to incisive experimental solutions such as " ORA X " characterized by a smasmodic repetitiveness of percussions and by a strange vocalism between lament and rapture, " IL TRENO DELL'ARCOBALENO " with an obsessing and syncopated sound and a vocalism simulating  the gasp of an exhausted person. The guitar is very remarkable on " QUANDO MUORE LA CITTA' " rich of dramatic tension. Beyond the distressing atmospheres, we find also other themes featuring some good positivity such as " PARMANIGHT " by a well-beaten drummming and with fast pace, " PER UN PUGNO DI PRATERIA " a pleasing western ballad and " MEXICO CITY " depicting adventurous atmospheres based on excited rhythms.
