MASTERS OF REALITY „Masters of reality“ original US Def American Rick Rubin NEAR MINT
This is the 1988 US release of Def American DEF24210. It includes the original inner sleeve.
Record Condition
Excellent to Near Mint! a few very light marks that seem to be underneath the vinyl cause no problems at all. The record looks and sounds great with hardly any background noise!Cover Condition
Near Mint! Minimal crease.GRADING
I try my best to be as accurate as possible as I have been collecting records for more than 25 years and have experienced the annoyance when records are graded inaccurately. Every collector of records knows - and every honest seller of records should know also! - that a visual grading does not say much about the actual condition of the record. Consequently: grading a record MINT or NEAR MINT without listening to it is simply negligent - to say the least. Unfortunately this happens on e-bay every day. On the other hand: it is simply not possible to listen to hundreds of records. So I decided to give every single record a careful acoustic check for the basic sound, listening to parts that look "suspicious" if necessary but I did not listen to the records throughout. If any inconvenience occurs from this - please let me know as soon as possible.MINT (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
NEARLY MINT (NM - Goldmine standard) The record shows no obvious signs of wear. The vinyl should show no wear from playing only the slightest of paper scuffs are acceptable. The jacket should look as if you just got it home from a new record store and removed the shrink-wrap.
EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects is acceptable.
GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
Returns are accepted if the item was misdescribed! And - sorry to say - only in that case! So PLEASE do only bid if you intend to buy the item.

MY FINAL AUCTION: Yes folks, I am simply tired of yet another attempt of e-bay to increase their profits by making life as complicated as possible for the collector who likes to sell parts of his well cared for collection. It is obvious that e-bay prefers the professional "power" sellers (even with 100% positive feedback a "collector-seller" won`t become a top seller!) with all advantages and disadvantages. Simply nobody can send vinyl records safely for free! So most likely there will be even less auctions but more weird set price offers with a very very "interesting" price range... Still: Want lists are welcome, I have around one thousand more records at home waiting to be listed, from classical music via Jazz to recent popular music - most of them in excellent or better conditions! :-)price rating
