Description
The Marvelettes "Please Mr. Postman" LP (Tamla 228; mono). This rare 1961 LP is the rare original pressing on the white label and it plays in VG+ to VG++ condition on my player with a heavier tone arm. The record has a very slight wave (not a warp) that does not affect the play or distort the sound. The cover, which has some wear on the front in the middle, an area on the front near the top in the white space with some sticker residue and an area on the back at the top in the white space where a sticker was removed, is in VG+ condition overall. The winning bidder, if outside the U.S., will have to agree to pay for registered mail since the record is valuable, but I will list my regular postage rates here. If a foreign buyer declines to pay for registered mail, I will not be responsible if the LP does not arrive. The package will be insured if the winner is in the U.S., but I will cover that expense. Winner pays $4 for Media Mail or $9 for Priority postage in the U.S. Postage is $8 for airmail to Canada, $15 for airmail to Europe and $16 for airmail to Australia and Asia. Multiple purchases shipped simultaneously result in big postage savings.
