You are bidding for a CLASSIC UK 70'S MALE POP LP record by MARTY WILDE called DIVERSIONS issued in the UK on the PHILLIPS record label in 1969, cat number SBL 7877 (BLACK AND SILVER LABEL, STEREO). Side 1 THE WORLD STOOD UP, ANY DAY, IT'S SO UNREAL, JUAN THE MEXICAN BOY, ZOBO (1871-1892), LEARNING TO LOVE, LULLABY. Side 2;ICE IN THE SUN, JESAMINE, ALICE IN BLUE, FELICTY, IN THE NIGHT, LOOK IN MY EYES, ABERGAVENNY. The record is in excellent condition with excellent labels. The record has little wear with no slight scuffs and no slight surface scratches and plays with no jumps and clicks and a minimum of surface noise. The original picture sleeve is also excellent. CLASSIC 70'S UKFLOWER POWER / POP ALBUM from MARTY WILDE featuring an album of songs entirely written by himself. MARTY was one of the UK best rock and roll performers during the 50's and earl;y 60's with a string of big hits, His popularity waned when THE BEATLES and the LIVERPOOL groups took over and he reinvented himself as a singer songwriter with some success. He had a big hit with ABERGAVENNY , STATUS QUO took ICE IN THE SUN into the top ten, and the CASUALS had a number one hit with JESAMINE. RARE in good condition, from my own collection.
