Original 1974 lp.
Scarce u.k. library lp on the Chappell library label.This one is called ‘Light And Bright’ and the music is by Mark Duval.There are tracks credited to Roger Webb,Jacky Goirdano,Roger Boudin,etc.
This is such a kicking library lp.Every track is wicked.There are some funky jazz scat vocal tracks with lovely smooth female scatting.There are some monster Hammond organ funky club style tracks and there are some mad spacey funky jazz tracks too.
Loads of real nice crisp beats,heavy Hammond organ,real nice flute lines,horns,harpsichord,wah guitar licks,wicked fender rhodes electric keys,pounding bass lines.There is even one track with mad vibes and tabla along with the spacey flute and bass.Something for everybody on this lp.Beatheads will dig this for sure with so many hiphop style beats.Funky jazz collectors and Barbara Moore fans will love the scat vocal tracks.Loads of tunes for the DJs,massive dancefloor tracks and producers will find so much of interest here,so many loops and stabs as well as heavy beats.If I had to choose a favorite track I would probably choose ‘Catch The Blues’.Mad downtempo tune with crisp drums and plodding bass line with awesome electric keys all over it.But all the tunes a top and we also get Morning Ride,Spick And Span,Leather Girl,Yoo-Hoo,Flute Samba,Puppet Dance,etc,etc.Killer library lp,real scarce and a real gem too.
