VERY RARE ORIGINAL GREEK PRESSING LP FROM 1975 by " MARINA with KOSTAS KLAVAS AND HIS ORCHESTRA" entitled "MARINA" on the PHILIPS Label .
Absolutely one of the most rare funky pieces out of Europe.You will definetely not see this again anytime soon, as it is apparently virtually nonexistent even in Greece. The Singer's called Marina, but that's pretty much all I know about the lp. The tracklist is also in Greek letters so unfortunately Released in 1975, this is a storming set of funky vocal tunes with a lot of raw bossa touches, unbelieveable harmonies and great beats, afro horns, wah wah's etc. etc. Many absolutely wicked tracks, including a really dancefloor-friendly jazzy bossa stormer, but the highlight for me is the last tune on the lp, apparently called "Only Last Summer" in English. That track is a raw solid funky rare groove bomb.
