Description

This vintage 78 RPM record features the iconic Marilyn Monroe singing "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" and the duet "A Little Girl From Little Rock" with Jane Russell on the B-Side. Both songs are from the MGM musical Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.


The shellac is chipped on the Diamonds side but does not affect play as long as you make sure you don’t place the stylus off the playable surface. See photos.


As you can imagine, the sound quality is pretty scratchy but it does not skip. This is definitely more of a piece of history than pristine audio. It was released in 1953 by MGM Records.
