Description
On offer, a very rare UK 1st pressing of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band – Manfred Mann’s Earth Band on the BLACK Philips label, cat. no. 6308086.
The record is in VG++ condition, there are a few non-sounding hairlines and a tiny sounding scratch at the end of the first track on side one. I would have graded this record EX if the scratch was not there. The labels are in EX condition, there are hardly any spindle marks.
The cover is in VG+ condition, there is only some slight wear on the corners and on the opening edge, but further the cover is in great shape; no writing, no rips or tears or other damage. The original Polygram company inner sleeve (dated 01/72) is still present and is in VG++ condition, there are a couple folds, but further the inner is completely intact.
This is a rare first pressing of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band self titled LP. Most of the pressings were made on the blue Philips label, not on black! This is your chance to own a Manfred Mann rarity!
