Description
MANDINGO RARE CANADA VERSION - THE PRIMEVAL RHYTHM OF LIFE. The Canadian outer sleeve has three significant difference from other versions:
- The front cover artwork is unique to the Canadian version, showing an illustration of a tribal African bird mask.
- A description on the front cover is also unique to this version: "A primitive percussive sound that strips away the flimsy veneer of civilisation and gets right back to the roots of music"
- The back cover uses the same liner notes that appear on many of the other versions, but adds two sentences to the beginning, suggesting that Mandingo is a real person: "Mandingo...is a young man who's [sic] music has never before been heard outside of his native Caribbean. A man with totally unorthodox musical ideas who has produced a stunning new sound with his very first attempt at studio recording."
Original Owner ~ Purchased in Alberta Canada ~ Have received Very Little Play & Have been in climate control storage since 1996. USPS charge includes handling packaging & shipping to the lower 48 only.
