The Mamas and Papas - Best 20 stereo Lp Japan first issue pressing on red vinyl, White Label Promotional copy.  Amazing, HUGE book-like album cover, very thick and heavy, spine is twice the width of a regular GATEFOLD cover (see comparison to “Let it Bleed” gatefold cover in the pictures below).  Comes with lyric insert and picture booklet.

Inner Sleeve Condition

The original flip-top inner sleeve has a poly-plastic lined die-cut center and is in like-new Near Mint condition.  No seam splits, No tears, No writing, No yellowing from age, No spots.  It fits into a heavy cardboard flip-top “folder” that is attached to the inside of the gatefold cover.  I have kept the record in a new MFSL-type poly-plastic inner sleeve to protect both the original inner sleeve and (more importantly) the vinyl.

Lyric Insert

10 Page Lyric Insert is attached to the inside of the Gatefold Cover, and it’s in like-new condition, as is the rest of the package.

Gatefold Cover Condition

Unbelievable super-deluxe padded and embossed leather gatefold cover appears to be out of a time capsule.  The inside is actually cloth-lined.  NO seam splits, NO ring-wear, NO writing, NO edge wear, NO problems of ANY kind.  Could not be bettered.  Near Mint

Record Label Condition

Superb, bright white and unblemished white label promotional examples.  There are NO SPINDLE MARKS on either label when examined under a bright light, at any angle.  Pristine and like new, Near Mint (highest grade possible).

Record Condition

As with the labels, there are NO marks of ANY kind to the vinyl when examined under a bright light, at any angle.  NO “wispy” hairlines, NO manufacturing flaws, NO marks period.  This deep-red transparent vinyl just shines like a brand new record, it could not be in better condition, Near Mint and absolutely amazing.

Always stored properly in a heavy outer plastic protective cover, with a further plastic protective cover wrapped around the front and back of the cover so it can be opened while still being protected.  An archive-quality example of an extremely rare Mamas & Papas album, with one great song after another…

Domestic (USA) Packaging:

You will see from my eBay feedback that I package very securely.  Open albums can have the Lp’s removed from jackets (helps to prevent seam-splits during shipping) upon request.  Sealed albums will be carefully “sandwiched” between two pieces of cardboard and taped tightly enough to prevent the record from sliding back-and-forth inside the sealed cover to help prevent seam-splits during shipping.  I have not had any problems with damaged records or covers as a result of my packaging, but I do recommend Insurance on the more expensive items. 

Priority Shipping to the U.S.

I do not charge a "Handling" fee, Priority shipping calculations will be made using the USPS website  (http://postcalc.usps.gov/) based on your Zip code.

Payment for U.S. Buyers:

Money Orders are preferred (checks will have to clear before shipment).  Paypal is accepted.  I will contact the winning bidder directly with a detailed Invoice.  Insurance is always offered as an option.

International Shipping:

I am happy to make these records available to everyone who loves music and who is interested in purchasing quality record Lp's.  I have plenty of experience safely shipping record Lp's internationally.  Shipping options include Airmail Parcel Post (for those who desire Insurance), and Airmail Letter Post (for those who do not want Insurance).
