Rare and sought after 2 LP’s Bach  «Integrale des sonates pour violon et piano«. Performed by Paul Makanowitzky, violin and Noel Lee, piano. French 2 LP’s released by LUMEN Reference LD 3-437 and LD 3-438. Two discs in outer box.

Original early green labels. Enregistrement stereophonique. (One of the earliest French stereo recordings done in 1958)

Superlative performances recorded in great sound.

Vinyl of both LP’s plays beautiful. Near MINT. Remarkable silent grooves. The music sounds clean and transparent without any congestion or otherwise distortion.

On both LP’s visually a few hairlines are detectable under bright light. On side 2 of the 3.437 there’s a scuff in the third and fourth band which however does not sound at all. Vinyl plays near MINT.

Two jackets complete with white banners are in beautiful near MINT condition.

Blue outer box seems to have a mild discolouring at the right side. Otherwise firm and solid, no tears or writing.

A great set in great condition!
