I pack to the highest standard with thick, heavy oversized boards and additional internal wrapping so that records and LP sleeves cannot be damaged - the disc and sleeve are always housed separately in a new plastic cover - a new poly-lined inner bag is added to original poly-lined inner sleeves for further protection from temperature extremes

I never open gatefold sleeves completely flat for photographic purposes - this practise is almost certain to permanently damage the spine
