Description

LET'S GET, LET'S GET . . . TAMMY WYNETTE!!!  Up for auction is an original pressing of the classic Maggots' record (EP) "(Let's Get, Let's Get) Tammy Wynette"; also includes "2/2/79" and "Rough Dub."  This particular record is #121 out of 400.  Also included is an incredibly rare and genuine "purple pet" maggot in its own portable home.  It glows in the dark too!!

The Maggots Back Story:

The band was formed in San Francisco in 1977, and the original line-up included "Insane" Jane Weems (also known for her famous "Beatle" house in San Francisco), Robert Conner and Richard Giron.  In 1978, Richard Mostert, Dino Santamaria and Vicki Berndt joined the band and, as they say, the rest is history . . . In the Summer of 1980, the Maggots recorded these songs at Peter Miller's Den of Rockabillity studio, the EP was released shortly thereafter, and Maggot-mania was born!  Chants of "Let's Get, Let's Get Tammy Wynette" could be heard all over the San Francisco Bay Area, by wiggle teens sporting their pet maggots!  Unfortunately, as all good things must come to an end, so did the Maggots . . .

The Maggots' legacy lives on in this incredibly rare record, with the original picture sleeve and pet maggot included.  As a bonus, the white outer sleeve is autographed by drummer Jane Weems! 

The record, sleeve and pet maggot are in excellent condition!  Don't let this rarity pass you by!
