- * MADONNA Like A Prayer *
- (Ultra Rare WEA Hong Kong Promo 12inch) These rare little beauties were issued only to Radio Stations & Disc Jockeys in Hong Kong & Southern China to help promote the upcoming Madonna single way back in 1989. An extremely limited quantity of 50 copies of these WEA promos were produced.
Most Western & European countries issued the song in the standard illustrated "Crowned Thorns" sleeve design, not so in Hong Kong. The unique cover design features an image of Madonna praying surrounded by what looks like a Metallic Green tinted border. The back cover includes an image of Madonna dancing in the throws of ecstasy with a preview image of the forthcoming Sire album (1989) titled "Like A Prayer". The rare one-sided promo record is housed in a deluxe Gate-fold sleeve which once opened reveals a spread of images from the controversial 'Like a Prayer" video. A great collector’s item from one of Madonna’s most popular eras!!
This is one Madonna item that will excite any true record collector, and is almost impossible to get a hold of. This record is even harder to find than the infamous original withdrawn Erotica Picture Disc. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to own one of Madonna's most collectible and desirable items.

PLEASE READ CONDITION DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY: SLEEVE: (VG +): The condition of the sleeve is graded as "Very Good +" see attached photos. There are some slight age stains on the cover (which is common for records over a decade old from Hong Kong) and scuffs mainly on the spine, and there is some sticker residue stain on the back cover which does not detract from the beauty of this sleeve.
RECORD (EX): The vinyl record is graded as "Excellent" see attached photos. There are no visible scratches or scuffs, I have not played it so I cannot confirm if it skips but the appearance of the vinyl looks very clean and in great shape overall.
