For Sale :
Hard to find ORIGINAL PRESS of EROTICA by MADONNA.
This first copy of the album went off the production line with a mistaken track listing and was subsequently pulled and re-released with the single “Did You Do It?” and as such this album is five minutes shorter than later pressings.
This is a mispress because it’s a DIRTY mix without the song on there. It was hastily recalled and two versions of the lp were released. A clean cut and dirty cut. The clean cut retained this track listing but was edited, the dirty cut added Did You Do It?
Also Track C2: contains a sample of "Perfect Way” by Scritti Politti. This sample is not credited but was subsequently credited on later pressings after much back and forth between the labels of the respective bands and artist.
Original pressing had a darker blue hue on the back cover and artwork whereas the repress had a mild purple blue effect.
Embossed colorless Warner logo on back cover, bottom right-hand corner. Matte gatefold sleeve
