Description

I can only find .

  • sold once in NZ recently to me
  • sold once at Disclogs for $10 in 2013
  • sold once on EBay for $10 in 2011
  • Popsikes don't list coz .the only EBay sale was cheap.
  • Only 1 person is listed as having it at Disclogs
  • MADSOUNDS don't have it in their collection
  • 45CAT don't have it listed.
  • The Japanese release is reported to be mega rare but 10 people have this on Disclogs and it can be found quite easily.
  • It may be that the same record is being sold in the above sales.

I can only conclude that this is mega rare. I got a copy from a radio station a few years ago but it is scratched so the record gets stuck. I have been looking for it ever since and finally found it. You can find plenty of listings of 'Grey Day' on NZ auctions but these are all UK Releases. U can tell as these have a Picture Cover which the NZ Release did not have.

I suspect my copies are both promos and I am doubting it was actually released. NZ didn't have separate labels for promos and used a sticker instead so it is quite hard to tell.

I am listing this at a high price and will take the best offer. Let me know if you are interested in the other cheaper copy. The labels on that copy are excellent but the vinyl is visibly scratched.

Record Grading

  1. Mint (M): The record itself looks to be in new condition with no surface marks and no deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
  2. Near Mint (NM): Almost perfect. No minor signs of wear and very minimal defects on the cover, though there may be slight handling signs, such as finger smudges. The cover/extras shouldn't have creases, seam splits or folds..
  3. Excellent (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging will not look new, but will have no defects of any kind.
  4. Very Good+ (VG+): The record looks to have been played many times, but will display no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and light scratches. There will be some background crackle, but this will be minimal and only really noticeable on the track breaks. There is normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
  5. Very Good (VG): As above but the background crackle will be a little more noticeable, there may be a few pops or clicks. There is heavy wear and tear on the cover or extra items, but still without any major defects.
  6. Good+ (G+): The record looks it shouldn't play but somehow it does. There will be extensive scratching and heavy background crackle but will play with no jumps or scratches. The cover will have some defects, minor rips or tears, price label damage, loss of rigidity etc...
  7. Good (G): As above, only the heavy background crackle will now be accompanied by a number of pops and clicks. The cover will have some major defects, read description for further information.
