Description
Madame "Ma" Rainey  acc. by Lovie Austin and Her Blues Serenaders Paramount 12083 Moonshine Blues /  Southern Blues Recorded 1923 Chicago
See photos for condition.    Quality shine remaining on both sides with few small scratches consistent with age. Some light groove wear.  Plays well throughout.  Note small edge chips not into grooves on b-side (at 5:30 and 11:45).   Lovely labels with the eagle perched upon the globe -- iconic!
This is one of very few records on which Ma Rainey was backed by Lovie Austin and Her Blues Serenaders in Chicago during a transition for Paramount from previous studios in New York City.
" 5"="">    Madame Gertrude "Ma" Rainey herself!

SHIPPING & HANDLING:

$6.80 - $12.40 USPS Priority Mail  USA (varies by buyer's location)

($2 per additional 78 - up to 3 records)
