Here's a tough one to find!..

Test Pressings were cut at the record plant for technical reasons..VERY few were cut and once their purpose had been served (maybe to assess the sound quality),they were discarded or destroyed..

This is the first side of Mad River's classic 1969 album..

The matrix numbers are:..ST 1 2985 A6...There is no music on the second side but "LPFB 2" is stamped into the run out grooves..

Play grade:..EX ..NO problems with this one..No clicks or pops and a clean,undistorted sound...

Visual grade:..EX minus..There are a couple of light hairlines but no nasty scratches or scuffs....

 The labels:.. Plain white with "Stereo" very faintly stamped on the A side...There is only light spindle wear...

The sleeve..This never had a proper sleeve..It comes in a white paper sleeve with "Mad River" and the matrix number written in biro on one corner.

I am sorry the picture is not very interesting,but there is not a lot to show!...

UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or collect it from The Southend Record Fair (13th April,11th May) and then the second Sunday in each month)..Where there are LOADS of great albums and singles offered for sale...

Venue for this fair is West Leigh Schools on the A13..SS9 2JB...Record collections always wanted!.

There are delays on post going INTO the USA due to an increased scanning of packages at US Customs (Anti terrorist measures,I believe)..Parcels ARE being delayed and delivery may take a MONTH!!..
