Description
Up for auction is an obscure piece of Alfred E. Neuman memorabilia. This one of MAD Magazine's first "Holy Grails". Produced in 1959 by ABC-Paramount, this is a 45 rpm record, featuring the song "What - Me Worry?", by Alfred E. Neuman (And His Furshlugginger Five). The "B" side is a tune affectionately known as, "Potrzebie". But, the best part of this lot is the color picture sleeve. It features the back of Alfred E. Neuman's head, and some of Don Martin's earliest work for MAD Magazine. The art on both sides of the sleeve is identical. While not in Mint condition, the sleeve is complete, and in full color. The record appears to have been played just a few times.
