Mac DeMarco - Salad Days - Deluxe Edition Vinyl Box Set
Original 2014 Limited Edition Set with exclusive Colored Vinyl and Mac Demarco Extras!
Includes "Salad Days" LP on "Banana Yellow" Colored Vinyl, plus exclusive "Salad Days: Demos" LP on Purple Colored Vinyl. This 1st press edition was limited to just 700 sets that included the Yellow/Purple variant combination. Also includes a Mac DeMarco printed mirror (still factory wrapped as shown) and a Mac D rainbow fridge magnet, all housed in a sturdy 12" black box with gold-foil printing. The copy shown in most of the photos is the actual copy for sale. The 2 photo's displaying the actual colored vinyl laid out were borrowed from Discogs and are shown as examples only. The actual records in this set look identical and have remained safely stored in their protective sleeves. Even though their jackets are not sealed, neither vinyl has ever been played or even fully removed.
Box Set has been well cared for and carefully stored since original purchase. All vinyl has remained unplayed as mentioned and the box comes complete with everything received from the label. (Listed here as "used" only to adhere to ebay's requirement for new items to be unopened and factory sealed). The Demos LP and Box Set itself did not come sealed or in shrink wrap from the factory. The Salad Days LP has been opened carefully down one side (shrink wrap w/ sticker still intact) to confirm color, and because there is a minor seam split starting on the top edge of the jacket (so shipping the jacket with the vinyl safely removed will be best to avoid any further splitting during transit). Overall this box set is in excellent condition and still exactly as it had originally arrived with the exception of opening the Salad Days LP. The only imperfections found would be the minor seam split mentioned (shown in the last photo and most likely from original shipping) and a couple small creases found on the inner sleeve of that LP after opening.
Both issues are purely cosmetic and very minor, but if desired, you could easily replace that jacket & sleeve with one from a standard retail copy of Salad Days since they are most likely identical (minus the "colored vinyl" sticker on the shrink wrap of the box copy). I hadn't realized it earlier, but the 2 things keeping me from using a NM grading for this box set (I never use Mint) are literally the only 2 items included that are not exclusive to the deluxe edition... The Salad Days jacket & inner sleeve could easily be replaced if so desired, creating a set that was in as good of condition as it could get! Just an idea anyway...
