Description

Beethoven- Middle Quartets- Budapest String Quartet- original deep groove 6-eye Columbia, Stereo-
Matrix stamped "XXSM50545-1B/XXSM50546-1A/SMXXSM50547-1F/XXSM50548-1F/XXSM50549-1B/XXSM505501G/XXSM50551-1B/XXSM50552-1C

2 of the 4 records are sealed in their original rounded Columbia Stereo Fidelty inner sleeves.
The remaining 2 are a solid and strictly graded MINT-, just one very light  and faint sleeve-burn mark throughout the set (visible only with close scrutiny under light), appears unplayed.  Includes all 4 original inners.

Cover is G, intact box with no splits on right corners, clean splits on left corners, completely intact hinge and clean spine with just a touch of fading to gold print, a few spots of surface abrasions on bottom edge, right side, a few surface abrasions on right edge, top and a spot of wear along the top edge, back, right side.  Light corner-wear, price sticker on lower left, front (looks easily removed).  Some moisture damage and abrasions along the bottom, front flap only, most visible from the inside of the box (there is no musty odor at all and certainly no active mold or mildew!)   The illustration used on the cover ironically makes the moisture damage look worse than it is, as most of the the smudging and brown spotting is in fact part of the illustration.  I suppose the optimistic way of looking at is is that the illustration masks the moisture damage!  See pictures.
The book is included and has some moisture damage on front flap/page only.  Once again there is no odor or mold/mildew.  Light corner-wear and a few smudges inside book.

Very scarce and sought after edition, Near perfect vinyl condition!
