Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has became very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback. We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. This is a scarce, completely deluxe, supersound pressing from 40 years ago. The pressing has the same quality as "audiophile" where you can hear every aspect of the music including the fine details that are often lost in the standard stock copy ... that said, this pressing blows away the USA issue to Pink Floyd's 1970 "ATOM HEART MOTHER"

Features a GATEFOLD COVER with 4 pages insert (lyrics /photos) (the USA etc was only a singlefold cover with NO oinsert, as you know)

Japanese vinyl releases are premium quality pressings, much sought after by audiophiles and collectors alike. Japanese pressings are synonymous with quality. When USA audiophile label Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab first released their series of high quality pressings the records were manufactured in Japan. The sonic quality of Japanese pressings is considered to be among the best in the world and, in addition, they are beautifully presented, their covers usually printed on better quality heavy stock paper and often including a bonus lyric insert with dual language Japanese & English text. Nearly all Japanese LPs were issued with an ‘obi’ strip across left side of the cover.

One of the highly underrated Pink Floyd album's and one of the Floyd's more experimental albums ~~ a fact which is emphasised by the opening and closing tracks. The opener is the title track "Atom Heart Mother", a 23 minute spacey epic. The song features great orchestration, sound effects aplenty, and most importantly, some outstanding keyboard work from Rick Wright. The album's three middle songs are more conventional. "If" is a Roger Waters love song, and is one of those rare songs of his showing off his sentimental side. "Summer '68" is a Rick Wright song, and is one of his best vocal efforts ever. It also features some great keys and an incredible chorus. The song is truly a classic, and the best of the album. Then there's David Gilmour's "Fat Old Sun". This is a gentle, uplifting spacey guitar piece with a great guitar solo, and has the kind of life that "If" was lacking. The album then closes with the experimental "Alan's Psychadelic Breakfast". The song is composed of a recording of one of the band's roadies cooking breakfast, and in between, three sections of music. The first is a floating Rick Wright keyboard solo, the second is David Gilmour delivering a starkly beautiful guitar performance, and the third is an outstanding full band jam, finishing the album off perfectly. Although not one of Pink Floyd's more accessible albums, Atom Heart Mother is a brilliant one, and should be in the collection of any serious prog fan.
