Well where do  I start ????? Luv Machine originated in Wolverhampton 1970-71 managed by Malcolm West fronted by Michael Bishop .The first album was produced by Beisize productions who were a management agency and record company in Walsall West Midlands owned by Chas Peate. At the time It was a case of Chicken before the egg situation as although the album was released there was no back up tour to promote the album and sales were as not as forthcoming as the record company wanted .The content  and cover was quite controversial for the music culture at the time.
The band folded and in 1972 Errol the drummer went back to Barbados and Michael Bishop  vocalist and songwriter Joined My Band" Peppermint Circus" who were performing and had gigs Michael can be heard doing backing Vocals on the last Peppermint Circus single "Hold on to love"
Michael and Barry from Peppermint Circus moved to live  together in a house in Birmingham road Walsall together Where Luv  Machine 2 evolved.  A lot of new material written by Michael and Barry  which was recorded for a follow up album.  The material was more in the Funk vane with quite strong vocals. This time an American Tour  was in the pipeline with a band called the MC5. The demos for Luv Machine 2  album were well received and there was strong interest  along with an advance from management so America here we come !!!!!!! or not
Mike and Bob from Coventry completed the line up.(as they possessed a WEM PA system ) At the Time finances were at a low so when the Lady called round for the rent money after a night of consumption of to much Alcohol, all we had were boxes of Luv Machine one albums to which we offered one to her in lieu of the rent Money...…We all (MEMBERS OF LUV MACHINE 2) signed the album however the ink ran out and Michael and myself went over our signatures again. The land lady was not impressed and declined the offer  which we said she would regret, so the album has been with me ever since. Michael and Barry both got married at Walsall Registry office at the same time however that is another tale to tell. Mick and his wife Jill moved back to Barbados the band fell apart as they often do .
So to the Album I am not a record collector so cannot grade this album but it is in good condition and hardly played (didn't need to there were boxes of albums  at the time) the cover is intact does not have any tears or rips but nicely aged. To my knowledge there is not another signed album around if there is I cannot remember it .......  I just wish I had kept some more copies as  most  ended up in a second hand shop in Walsall . I have taken pics which reflect the condition of the LP which has been in my possession since the Album was  released
Please note Bob Bowman or John Jeavons did not sign the Album  . Only the Members of Luv Machine 2 who were there at the time signed the Album.
