Description

Red and pale gold label, deep groove, red vinyl. On 3 tracks, Reed is accompanied by Dick Marx, piano; Johnny Frigo, bass from 1957. The balance of the tracks inlcude Bill Evans, piano; Howard Collins, guitar; Bob Carter, bass; Sol Gubin, drums for 1955. Total of 12 tracks. Rare. Cover: VG+ 1/2" split on the bottom edge. A few tiny scuff marks on the front cover. Some aging on the back cover. Record: VG(-) to VG Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only a very few times as the record surface is free of markings and there are no spindle marks. In spite of this, there are continious crackles, pops, and clicks. Reed can be heard but the surface noise is considerable and varies from track-to-track. There is possibly less noise on Side 2. Still, those interested should be aware of the noise detailed. Moderately heavy vinyl. Audibly checked.
