Description
Beatles- Something New, Lp on German Odeon: SMO 83 756 (ztox 5572).
White label with gold rim and red print. Copyright statement starts with “Alle..” wich indicates that it is early copy. Upper lleft corner has rectangular sticker: “ Stereo – auch mono abspielbaar.” Info on different mixes, when it’s exactly brought out, if this is an early reissue between the mono and the stereo lp isn’t clear. Some claim this is one of the rarer
pressings but I do not claim this to be factual: that is for the Beatles-experts to sort out.
Sleeve is VG+: Has a used look with wear on corners and opening, back has browning, some wear-marks and some spots, no writing, no tears, no split seams (it’s a heavy lp) Comes with original inner-sleeve (capitol/Odeon).
Lp is VG+: Labels are clean, Has lots of surface wear/lines: I listened to the lp all the way and it sounds fine: no tics, no pops: just some minor background crisp hear and there.
