Love (Arthur Lee) - Debut album on Red Elektra - 1966 UK Press
Not seen this one before, I have come across the gold label version and a red label version with a white Elektra logo but not a red with black Logo, sleeve is reminiscent of a US pressing and is thick card, really sturdy. Some lovely person has written his name in the top right hand corner :( and there is some creasing about an inch in from the opening where the record has been taken in and out, this is heavier on the back though. There are also a few pin holes in each corner as this has been displayed on a wall at some point and who could blame them, its kick ass. The spine is worn but completely intact. All in, its in used shape, no major disasters or rips or tears but not in ‘mint’ condition.
The vinyl is in great shape though, a few minor hairlines but plays without any background noise at all. Labels are clean and have light spindle wear, this album has been looked after and is a rare and beautiful thing, there may be better copies out there but good luck getting one for 99p!

This month’s offering is a cache of records I've been asked to sell for a dear friend, to be brutally honest I just wanted to give him a few hundred quid and keep them! but we're both in the same boat and we both need money so you lucky lot get to reap the rewards.
As always, my auctions start at 99p with no reserve which considering the rarity of some of these records seems a crazy thing to do, but they are only worth what you are prepared to pay for them, so again it works in your favour! All records will be sent in professional vinyl record envelopes.
Check my other items if you like what you see here and add me as a favourite seller as there’s much, much more to come.
As these aren't my records I haven't play graded them all, If there has been a noticeable mark I have listened to that track but I have however scrutinised the f**k out of them and have listed any flaws or imperfections however minor, I have 100% positive feedback as a seller and I intend to keep it that way so please bid with confidence and feel free to ask any questions.
