Description
Original "RVG"-stamped "P" pressing of Louis Smith Smithville on the West 63rd Street (no INC) labels of Blue Note BLP 1594. Both sides have the deep-groove. The playing surface is in near-new condition; perhaps played once or twice. The laminated "47 West 63rd St." cover is bright and clean throughout, with sharp corners and near-perfect seams (one tiny nick on the top seam); light foxing on the right side of the front and bottom of the back slick. Personnel includes Charlie Rouse, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor.
