Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-stamped Ear-pressing of Louis Smith “Smithville” on the West 63rd St. (no “INC”) labels of Blue Note BLP 1594.

The lp plays great, high quality sound, no skips etc.
 It has some wear marks and paper marks.

1st song has 3 tics for 3 revolutions (over in a few seconds) some minor background noise here and there, a great listening experience. Side 1 on of the lp has a few smudges on it.

 The original West 63rd St. laminated cover is clean throughout; there is a 2 ¾” tear at the top spine corner, a name written small on back with normal age toning. Personnel include Charlie Rouse, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, and Art Taylor.
