Really excited about this one - the diificult-to-find "So Blue" 7" by Lou Reed and The Jades. Lou Reed was 16 when he wrote this - he doesn't sing, but does perform in the background. He is credited as Lewis Reed on the label. This is described as a holy grail for collectors. The vinyl is in VG++ condition - high gloss, with a few feathery light scratches on each side, presumably caused by removal from the sleeve. One very light scuff and one small "blob" pressing flaw on the  B-side. Play is clean. There are a few tiny chips in the richly coloured blue labels (I have included images). The A-side label shows a little more rubbing than the B-side label, which is very clean. There was another copy up for auction in the past year, and judging from the photo and description, this one is in better condition. Please ask any and all questions. This auction is for the original black vinyl with blue label.

This particular batch of 45s consists of many rare doo-wop and rockabilly tracks. I will also potentially have a Northern Soul set at auction soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

PLEASE NOTE: I have listened at least twice to all the 7” that I currently have at auction, and affirm that there are no skips. If there’s notable hissing or pops in the play, I’ve mentioned it. I won’t list anything that rates beneath “Good” unless it’s of exceptional rarity. I will not list anything as Mint, even if it is. Everything is Good to Near Mint. I will note when something is in the original sleeve and will include a photo. Anything else will arrive in a generic vintage sleeve that may include deejay notes and so forth.

Good/G = wear, scratching, scuffing, some gloss remains, good play, potentially some hiss and pop.

Very Good/VG = light scratches, light scuffs, good gloss, good play, potentially some hiss.

Near Mint/NM = virtually no scratches or scuffs, excellent play
