LOU DONALDSON "SUNNY SIDE UP" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, #4036. Original 1960 MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels. The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides with the "EAR" and RVG stamper in the trail-off on both sides. Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Bill Hardman/trumpet; Lou Donaldson/alto sax; Horace Parlan/piano; Sam Jones, Laymon Jackson/bass; Al Harewood/drums. The vinyl is in EX+/EX condition (beautiful gloss, several light marks or scuffs). Nice! The thick laminated cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully. Small signature in ballpoint pen on back. NO seam splits, NO cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. Address on back cover is 43 West 61st St., New York 23.
