Mega Rare LP of Lou Donaldson - The Time is Right (Blue Note 4025 - mono) Original blue and white labels with 63rd Street address, Van Gelder, deep groove and ear on both sides. Great Blue Note session for Donaldson along with Blue Mitchell, Horace Parlan, Ray Barretto and others in a real classic that no serious jazz collector can be without.
The LP has lots and lots of marks that will definitely make a lot of noise - not for the audiophile in any way - you are definitely going to hear a lot of noise on this one - snap, crackle, pop throughout the entire LP. The cover is in surprisingly decent VG+ condition with some general age/shelf wear, but NO splits, NO tape, NO writing, NO stickers, NO stamps. What can I say - the LP is definitely NOT in good condition, but how many originals on these do you see at any price?
