Description

This is a monochromatic fibre-based silver gelatin print measuring 8x10 of Linda McCartney that was released to the press for newspaper publication around early 1990 in advance of her retrospective that subsequently was shown in Edinburgh. As a press photographer at the time I was given it to go and see the exhibition and produce images for publication as a feature. I cannot tell if Linda McCartney printed this herself however on the rear of print there is a photographic printer's stamp. Above that is a typesetter's mark for sizing print for output to press and, at the bottom someone has pencilled in the title of the image "Self-Portrait" In really good condition. I will pay for signed for postage and this will be well packed to the winning recipient.
