I don't really want to do this, but it's time to part with this one. This is the prized rare first edition of the Lilys beloved debut LP In The Presence Of Nothing. Hand lettered and silkscreened in an edition of 500 (as the photograph will attest), including a poster (also pictured). Because in a former life I was collector scum, this LP has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. It was purchased upon release in 1992 and stored lovingly in a temperature controlled environment. Obviously the vinyl itself is MINT. The sleeve would be called M- by most, VG+ by others. I've photographed all flaws in order to exaggerate their severity, so you take a look at the photos and be the judge. It's only been out of its sleeve three times in its 18 years of existence, if that means anything (it should). It is a beautiful specimen of a record that doesn't come up for sale nearly as often as it once did. I've been collecting records for about 25 years and worked in very good record stores for a not insignificant percentage of those years. I have thousands and thousands of them, and have probably sold as many as I've bought. In other words, I know what I'm doing and am not going to screw you over. I do not sell them lightly, and hope they go to someone as pathetically, pathologically and girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse-infuriatingly obsessed with them as I am. I combine shipping, am happy to ship internationally (and am equally happy to take the necessary steps to avoid exorbitant customs charges and such), and charge a reasonable rate that probably won't even cover my real shipping costs but I figure we all think it's too damned expensive so I'll split the difference with you because that's just how great of a guy I am. I pack well and insist on any problems with the transaction being solved by the responsible party. That means if your record shows up damaged, you damn well better have bought the insurance. In order to avoid such problems, I recommend asking pertinent questions in advance. Stupid questions will be responded to in the voice of the Muppet Show's Swedish Chef. I am increasingly open to selling off parts of my collection, so if there's something you've been looking for, send your inquiries and want lists this way and I will try to put those items up for auction as well.
