Description
This is a 10" Presto Acetate on metal, 78 RPM recording that is labeled as being recorded by "Less Paul." It actually sounds like Les Paul to me but I do not know if this is a period duplicate or one of the recordings over-dubbed in Les Paul's famous Post War garage studio during July 11, 1948. It is well recorded and one side states "September Song" and the other side states "Out of Nowhere." The September Song side has a second track recorded which is about 1 minute or so long. I do not know the song title but I posted an audio of it below.
The record is in good condition with some snap, crackle and pop caused by storage, handling and playing which you can hear below. Cosmetically, the labels are great and the scuffs and scratches are quite visible to the naked eye.
Please listen and form your own opinion on what this recording might actually be. The recording was played on a cheap modern turntable without any tone modification at all. It was recorded on an equally cheap Galaxy J3 smart phone.
