This listing is for a rare limited edition 4 record vinyl LP box set of Les Miserables: The Complete Symphonic Recording.

It was released in 1988 in the UK by the label First Night Records with catalog # MIZ 1.

Recorded at CTS Studios, Wembley: Studio Eleven Eleven, Nashville, and Rhinoceros Studio, Sydney, between August and October 1988.

The records are housed in a cardboard box and then individually in inner sleeves.

As far as the condition of the records themselves, they have only minor signs of visible surface wear.

The records each have clean center labels and the vinyl still has a nice gloss to it.

The records also do have some light smudges & dust. So a good thorough cleaning would certainly remove that and brighten the appearance even more.

I would conservatively grade the records themselves as a VG++.

The black outer cardboard box has some obvious visible damage in the upper right corner and upper spine portion of the box (see various photos for more details).

But beyond that the box has only moderate typical signs of age and shelf wear on the cover and other edges & corners with some of the corners of the top lid splitting a little bit.

The top lid and bottom tray portion of the packaging are still attached though. This is something that commonly comes apart on many of this style of record box.

The front cover of the box is still pretty clean and displays fairly well despite the damage in the upper corner.

I'd probably grade the packaging as a VG or VG- due to the damage in the upper corner area.

The records are housed in their original black cardboard inner sleeve, each with a gold seal.

These sleeves have varying degrees of moderate visible wear such as a few spots of cardboard creasing and other light scuffs & marks. But they are all structurally sound with no seam splits or major flaws.

And I would say that the sleeve for LP 4 probably has a little more visible wear than the others.

Then within those the record sits within a generic white paper sleeve, which are also original.

The original booklet is also included and still in good condition with moderate signs of wrinkling and a few other marks, but nothing too severe.
