Leeway - Born To Expire 1st pressing 1989 Profile Records With Bonus 24" x 19" 1989 Promo poster NYHC Hardcore Punk Crossover Thrash Metal RARE. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Media Mail.   1st Pressing Profile Records Barcode: 0 15151-1257-1 7  Run-out groove  Side A: "A- Pro-1257-A" and a Masterdisk logo. Run-out groove  Side B: "B- Pro-1257-B"   Loved the hell out of this record as a teen. It has the scuffs and scratches to prove it. There are more than a handful of scratches visible on the vinyl, including 3 or 4 very long ones on side A. However they mostly do appear to be light in nature and the longish ones look very light. Because of how many there are, I would say that there are bound to be a couple more significant ones. Still, the record likely plays fine if you don't mind a couple pops and clicks here and there, mostly audible on the quiet passages like the intro to side A, and probably on the silent areas in between songs. I can't rate it more than a G+++ just because of how it looks. But if I could play test it I bet it would sound more like a VG.
Somehow the lyrics insert walked off on me and is no longer present. Luckily, I learned every word before it went. I'm including the promo poster to hopefully make up for it. It's 25 x 19 inches. Image is the same as the album cover with a white "appearing at" strip across the very bottom." Its got an extra fold in it and folds up kind of strangely, not exactly square. It's also got multiple tack holes in every corner, and maybe some small rips and tears here and there. Definitely a few creases here and there. Anyway, you can think of it as a bonus, as I'm not factoring it in to the auction price.
The cover is in really good shape. It's got some minor ring wear, front and back. It's more pronounced at the top and bottom, center, (see pictures) but it's very faintly visible at the sides as well. There is only one significant vein on it. It's on the back, bottom right corner. Apart from that there is only a small handful of very minor veins, mostly near the left edge. The spine edge has very little wear. There is one very small nick on the last "E" of the album title and a very slight bit of wear at the corners, but its still in really great shape. (see pictures) Overall this cover still looks really good and I would rate it VG+
