Lee Scratch Perry - D.I.P Presents The Upsetter - 1975 DL International Records - DLP 5026 - Rare Original Pressing
This auction is for the original UK pressing of rare recordings by famed reggae producer Lee Scratch Perry released on the little known DL International Records label in 1975 as catalogue number DLP 5026.
This LP is now extremely rare and almost impossible to find in any condition.
It contains twelve tracks recorded by Lee Scratch Perry.
Vinyl
As with copies of any reggae or ska records from this period, the vinyl has obviously been well played and contains some light visible surface marks which does not detract from the overall quality or loudness of the recordings.
There is a very minor split-second jump on Side One track 3 which may be able to be repaired with a professional clean. And a short click (but no jump) at the very start of Side Two track 1. For that reason I would only grade the vinyl as a Very Good.
Sleeve
The LP sleeve is in Excellent + condition as can be seen from the photos.
The spine has some very minor creasing as can be seen from the pictures but is completely intact. The wording of the title and catalogue number are all clearly visible.
Labels
Both labels are clean and complete and all of the original printed song titles, record company name and catalogue number are intact.
