Description
Lee Perry & Friends – Public Jestering original 1990 UK Attack Records LP (ATLP 108). Classic reggae and dub compilation produced by legendary Jamaican producer Lee “Scratch” Perry at his Black Ark Studio in Kingston, featuring the Upsetters, Leo Graham, Jimmy & Glen, Truth Fact & Correct, Horse Mouth and Prince Jazzbo. This 12” 33⅓ rpm vinyl has been visually graded EX, with clean glossy playing surfaces and only minor signs of handling, and the sleeve is also in excellent shape with bright artwork, readable spine text and light edge/corner wear consistent with careful storage.
Tracklist includes “Public Jestering,” “I’m A Dread Locks,” “Dread Locks Version,” “Stay Dread,” “Kingdom Of Dub,” “Babylon Deh Pon Fire,” “Jungle Fever,” “Hypocrites,” “Black Candle,” “Bad Lamp,” “Doctor Demand,” “Black Bat,” “Big Tongue Buster,” “Bus‑A‑Dub,” “Herb Vendor” and “Penny Reel.” A great-sounding Black Ark–era selection for collectors of roots reggae, dub and Lee Perry/Upsetters vinyl, ideal for both serious collectors and DJs looking for original UK press reggae LPs.
Condition (visual):
• Vinyl: EX – glossy with a few light surface marks not expected to affect play.
• Sleeve: EX – strong colors, light ring/edge wear, no major creases or splits; original inner present (see photos).
Ships in a protective outer sleeve and sturdy mailer. Perfect addition to any reggae, dub, Lee Perry, Upsetters or vintage Attack/Trojan label vinyl collection
