Description
This is the original RVG-stamped deep-groove "P"-pressing of Lee Morgan "The Cooker" on the West 63rd St. labels of Blue Note 1578. Side 1 looks virtually new, with a high luster; Side 2 has just two light, superficial and inaudible handling scuffs. The laminated cover has the West 63rd St. address: bright and clean throughout; minor rubbing at the spine corners; ½" lamination crack on the bottom seam, at the opening; very light foxing along the left edge of the back slick. Personnel includes Pepper Adams, Bobby Timmons, Paul Chambers, and "Philly" Joe Jones.
