Description
This is the original deep groove RVG-stamped “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan “Candy” on the West 63rd labels of Blue Note BLP 1590. Side 1 is in near-new condition; Side 2 has a few superficial inaudible scuffs and a single scratch on the first track that makes first four, then twenty-seven tics; the playing surfaces have a high luster. The laminated West 63rd St. cover is in remarkable condition - bright, clean, and immaculate throughout – with just a superficial 1 ½” crease at the lower right corner. Personnel include Sonny Clark, Doug Watkins, and Art Taylor. $750.00.
