Description
This is the deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Lee Morgan “Presenting” on the NY23 label (Side 1)/Lexington Ave. label (Side 2) of Blue Note BLP 1538. The flat rim playing surface shows superficial wear/scuffing, but plays beautifully – clear and crisp – with maybe only a very infrequent tic; inaudible storage splotching. The coated Lexington Ave cover is clean and bright throughout; ¼” wear/bump at the top left corner; a few superficial flakes along the spine; rubbing along the bottom seam, very light wear along the opening on the front. Personnel include Clarence Sharpe, Horace Silver, Wilbur Ware, and Philly Joe Jones. $500.00..
