Description
This is the original RVG-etched deep-groove "P"-pressing of Lee Morgan "Sextet" on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note 1541. The flat rim playing surface is nearly immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The "frame" cover has the Lexington Avenue address: in stunning condition, bright and clean throughout; the bottom seam has 1/8" wear at the spine and a ¾" split at the opening. Personnel includes Hank Mobley, Horace Silver, Paul Chambers, and Charlie Persip.
