Lee Morgan (with Bobby Timmons, Pepper Adams, Philly Joe Jones, Paul Chambers) THE COOKER Blue Note 1578, recorded 1957. Deep groove Mono. 47 West 63d Street address on label. “Ear” and “RVG” stamped into wax of both sides. Disc looks and plays NM. One piece of dust sounded once through the whole record.
Eighth offering from the vast, very special collection of an international avant-garde LP maven, to be offered across the coming year. Most of these items have had one owner and one play, have not left the original house of the collector since purchase. There is one flaw with the paper on the backside, at the bottom, near the address. The jacket was manufactured with the paper creased and bunched up for about 2 inches. Sorry for this late discovery.
